Hurricane Irma relief fund for Lucie and Radek

My name is Lucie and I live with my partner in life Radek and our children at St. Maarten, an area, that was recently affected by Hurricane Irma.

I am here to raise money to rebuild our home and life and I hope you can help me.

We are a young family with two little boys, 1 and 4 year-old. We were hit by the Cat 5 hurricane on September 6th, 2017. It completely destroyed our beautiful island and badly damaged our house and neighbourhood. Luckily, I was in Europe with my boys when Irma came to visit our place, however, Radek, my other half, was at St. Maarten.

We were fortunate enough. Our house is still standing, but there is a lot of damage caused by flooding. Due to the damage of the roof during the hurricane the ceiling in the whole apartment collapsed and a lot of water got into the apartment and ruined most of the furniture.

I started this fund raiser to help to fix our house so we can move back, to help us with travel and living expenses until we will be able to get our jobs back again, to restore our neighbourhood, and to be able to stand on our own feet again.

I am happy Radek is alive and safe and with your help everything else can be replaced and fixed. Every little helps and will be much appreciated. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.
