The UN states the crisis faced by the Syrian people is, "The biggest humanitarian emergency of our time," and "Syria is the most dangerous place in the world for civilians."

The survivors are desperately in need: almost five million refugees have fled the country. Six million more remain displaced within Syria, having left behind their homes, jobs, friends and family for a life of uncertainty and desperate survival. Sadly, over half of the refugees are children.

Purpose of this Campaign

IT IS WINTER NOW AND "HOPE FOR SYRIAN KIDS INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION" IS SEEKING FOR KIND PEOPLE TO DONATE IN THEIR PROGRAM CALLED " A WINTER JACKET FOR A SYRIAN KID".This program will provide winter jackets and blankets for the displaced Syrian kids this winter. BE PART OF IT.

And harsh winters and hot summers make life as a refugee even more difficult. At times, the effects of the conflict can seem overwhelming.

Death, execution & torture

According to Oxford Research Group in November 2013, 11,420 Syrian children have been killed in the conflict. 70% died from explosions and 25% from gunfire. 764 were summarily executed, and 389 shot by snipers. 128 were killed in the chemical attacks in Ghouta in August 2013. 112 were tortured — including infants as young as one year old. And it’s still happening.

Psychological trauma

The effect of the conflict on Syrian children is almost beyond description. Some have seen their families killed before their eyes, and have had to bury them. They’ve been shot at and blown up by their own government. Thousands display horrific physical scars; all of them bear invisible trauma and even post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Huge numbers of children exhibit hyperactivity or severe withdrawal; they are depressed and anxious.

Freedom, dignity and self-determination are the rights of every human being on the planet. Are you ready to impact innocent Syrian children's lives and the lives around the world by joining this humanitarian effort?? Remember change begins with you and the issues you help with right now will make lead to the solutions for tomorrow. So please take the steps to get involved today and please do what you can!

The people I am working with are very close to me and are some of the most selfless people I've had the pleasure of knowing. Please visit their site for more information regarding their efforts and progress. http://hopeforsyriankids.org/
