Champion Ideas is a newly established Sports Development NPO, exempted from tax due to the community based service delivery etiquette. The organization is predominantly a youth sport development NPO, providing the rural – and disadvantaged areas with structures relating to sport and recreation.

The organization makes use of students and unemployed qualified coaches to assist in all Sport programs focused events. Providing the educators with the opportunity to practice and learn while giving back to the community is the overall aim of the NPO.

Champion Ideas has planned a yearly project to contribute towards youth development within the rural areas of the Saldanha bay Municipal borders. The areas are: Vredenburg, Hopefield, Langebaan, Patenoster, Saldanha Bay and St Helena Bay. These areas are wealthy with talent in sports and culture, and the organization wants to expose this factor that could lead to bursaries and potential talent identification institutions for the targeted youth.

The event is called: The Saldanha Bay Sports (December/Janaury School Holiday’s 2019/20) Program and focuses on strategic youth development. The event is not only a sports event, but an awareness program for the community as well as the education of social abusive factors that the youth faces on a day- to- day basis.

The event promises to attract a lot of attention from the community as the event shall commence on a annual basis.
