Human Right Abuse

The Anglophone regions have been rocked by a growing human rights crisis, as government forces conduct abusive counterinsurgency campaigns against armed separatists. As of August, the United Nations estimated more than 244,000 civilians were displaced in the Far North and 437,000 in the Anglophone North West and South West Regions. About 32,600 Cameroonians found refuge in Nigerian and all over Africa. Internally displaced persons with no food and shelter, pregnant woman give birth in the bushes.
