Please help bring volunteers where they are needed most

We live in a world where too many are suffering without housing, clean water, food, education, medical care, basic civil rights etc.

No one deserves to live like this especially children!!

As you may or may not know volunteers are needed in all parts of the world and there are many organizations and agencies that could use the help of volunteers in the communities they serve especially in places like South America Asia and Africa. However the cost to volunteers sometimes prevents volunteers from staying longer or going at all. Volunteers are not paid for their time and the cost of flights, visas, passports, travel while at a volunteer site (and sometimes food and shelter are also not provided for the volunteer). The funds would allow me to pay for visas, flights, and the other costs of living in a foreign country while being able to service the communities in those countries. All proceeds would be used for those purposes. What I do not personally use will help fund another volunteers journey

We are hoping to raise $20,000 a year in order to help us and other volunteers travel from the United States to places like Haiti, Ghana, Thailand, Burma, and wherever help is needed. This should allow us to volunteer in any and all of these places for a total of 2-3 years easily. If more money is raised we could stay longer. What we do not use we will give to other volunteers so they can travel with us or on their own journey. we are frugal people and belong and to sites organizations such as https://www.couchsurfing.org, andwww.workaway.info and some wwof sites in order to minimize the cost of living and volunteering in other countries by looking for homestays, however this is not always possible. Any help you can give will go a long way and ensure we can volunteer for much longer than 1 to 2 weeks at a time.

We called this project H.U.G.S. or Humanitarians United in Giving And Service. Hugs make everyone feel better. Maybe you cant physically be there to give in the capacity we hope to. But know you can still heal and hug the world by just keeping those who are less fortunate in your thoughts and donating in any way you can.

The dream is to dedicate our lifes to service work and someday start a nonprofit organization of volunteers, doctors, teachers, counselors, farmers, carpenters, united in service to make the world a better place for everyone living here. We also plan on taking many photos and writing a book on life/career as a volunteer activist.

We will take many photos and make available to anyone who asks and plan on creating a blog on our journeys for anyone to follow.

If you are unable to help monetarily there are plenty of others ways to help

· Spread the campaign love. Facebook, twitter, blog, e-mail … all of the above!

· Travel with us-seriously come with us the more the merrier

· Get out and volunteer in your community or do one random act of kindness everyday for a stranger, friend or family member without telling them

· Pray and/or send positive vibes to all the volunteers out there doing this great work.and for the people they serve.

· Meditate on ways to help make the world a better place and visualize it happening
