Hello Friends of Hubbadillia!
New businesses are challanging so we thought we'd jump on the bandwagon and ask for some help!
Since we've moved back home to Kernow, we've not had the extra funds to get the basics done to start up hubbadillia for the 2015 season. As some people already know it's pretty hard to get work in the winter here, despite that we have finally managed to get some part time work. Once the season starts we need to be ready for our bookings in the summer which are filling up. Right now we need to re-stock, re-fuel & re-furnish. Spring is here and the season is fast opon us and we thought this would be a good way of helping Hubbadillia back on the road!
Over the winter we did our best keeping the inside of the van dry (using de-humidifier and heater) but since hardboard isn't the best material the damp has got the better of the wall linings which sagged and fell down! Now we'd like to have them replaced with stainless steel so this doesn't happen again.
Hubbadillia has now got the use of a friends mobile wood powered pizza oven! This means a tow hitch is needed and trailer licence.During some high winds at last years sunset festival our gazeebos for the frontage broke. We would now like to get a burgundy canvas canopy to shelter us, the back of the cafe and the display counter from the elements.
Below is a list of other ongoing goals for the business!
Hubbadillia Cafe sign/banner.
Magnet signs for van.
Van painted burgundy.
New menu boards.
New hardwood work surfaces.
Stainless steel interior.
Re-spay doors and fridges.
New decorative bar.
New coffee grinder.
Fire retardent kitchen gazeebo.
Tow hitch + trailer + licence.
Corgi gas check.
Fix tables and chairs.
So any help getting Hubbadillia back on track would be gratefully recieved and hopefully you'll see us out and about this season! Loads of love Carys, Jacob & Oona
