On February 15-18, 2019, I was chosen to be one of the three hundred delegates around the world who will represent the Philippines in the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Conference in Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA. This is really my passion for my aim is to bring the name of every Filipino farmers in this conference. I want to broadcast the current situation of my fellow farmers and their converted agricultural lands. I want to learn from others about policies, practices, and steps on how to help farmers, and how to put a stop on intensive land grabbing and land use conversion that gravely affects the lands of the farmers, which then affects their families. I want to make a change on the situation. This is my passion. However, my family and I don't have the capability to cover my expenses for the travel. We are currently paying for debts, bills and for my mom's medicine due to her complications (multiple cyst). However, I believe that our condition will never be a barrier for me wanting to make a change and having the initiative to contribute for my country. That's why I want to create this 100-peso campaign. I am asking you, with a humble heart, to help me, and the farmers. You will be a part of a change. Your 100 pesos will mean a lot not just for me, but for the farmers that I will represent. A single bill can change millions of lives.
