How to revive the Latvian countryside

On the turn of the year the former Prime Minister Boriss Lielchlyens

said: "We need a strategy that is not written on paper, but the hearts

of the people living soul. We need a future idea who live in our hearts

and which we truly believe, we need a big and strong idea. "

words! And this is moving lesson is relevant today. It has changed the

Parliament and heads of state, but to a large and strong future idea has

never materialized.

Not resolved the very core problems: a

terrifying demographic situation and mass emigration, but most of all - a

catastrophic rural depopulation. State leaders and institutions are

responsible for recognition of the existence of problems, but do not

offer any real solutions to overcome them.

As a farmer offered

the opportunity to the rural population, reduction of unemployment and

the demographic problem solution providing real state start-up aid for

young families, who move to the countryside and farming. Beginning of

support to give the possibility to later solve their problems in their

own, to become the hosts in their own country - Latvian, not to be the

servants abroad.

I propose the following model: help me raise money to raise awareness of this problem and help local farmers in need.

I will take my ideas and propose them to the goverment officials:

Each

region dozens of new Latvian citizen's family (wife under the age of

30, her husband of 40 years) free of charge to state ownership of 5-10

ha of agricultural land and about 3 ha of forest. Land as possible is

given to county / parish center or any other location where you can use

the county / municipality infrastructure - communications, schools,

kindergartens, public institutions, etc. The owner of the farm families

(let's call them yeoman) maintain their farms in accordance with the

State's legal status and local government established procedure.

Brīvzemnieka family legal status provides statutory burdens and responsibilities:

# Family-reared children (own or adopted);

# Land and on property situated may not be pledged;

If Brīvzemnieka family own backyard farms and are no longer able or

willing to continue to manage, it must be returned to the state, which

then transfers it to another date as defined in the countryside to move

interested family, adequately compensating for the previous owner's

personal investment in the farm. This compensation becomes the new

Brīvzemnieka debt to the state;

To provide financial resources for the construction of buildings,

providing adequate bank guarantee issuing credit for 20 years with a

minimum rate of implementation of the project, as well as attracting the

maximum possible EU support funding;

# Guarantee loans Brīvzemnieka fence inventory necessary - livestock, equipment, etc. purchase;

# Pass laws that housing taken credit obligations permit to make the borrower's lifelong slavery.

# Provide key communications - roads, electricity;

# To provide free advisory, legal and economic assistance services, etc. availability;

# To support the establishment of credit unions;

Adopt laws that further motivates young people to move to the countryside to farm and build a bushy family, such as:

unworkable utopia. Of course, this will require considerable resources,

lifestyle and all the territory of the country population. Prevail there

must not only be a productivity or the amount obtained. The decisive

here will be a productive life, home, family, children, job

opportunities ecological degradation of the environment and its
