How to live without a mortgage

Hello. We are all afraid for our future and I'm looking for a better way to secure it.  Why not live mortgage free.  We've all seen the tiny houses that people build on trailers.  They are typically around 200 square feet and have everything you need to live comfortably.  I want to build such a house and document it.  I want to show people how easy it is to build such a house and the advantages such a house can have over your typical house.  There are thousands of people that are looking for affordable housing and I believe this is a great solution.
