E pur si muove (lat. and yet it moves) is the phrase said in 1663 and represents an inflection point in the history of humankind. It is attributed to the great Italian mathematician and philosopher Galileo Galilei and marked the beginning of a new era.

It was at that point, that the heliocentric theory gained momentum over the vastly accepted geocentric theory. Eventually, during the next centuries, the scientific community widely acknowledged the idea that the Earth is not flat and that it spins around the Sun.

However, in 1881 the English inventor and writer Samuel Rowbotham published the Zetetic Astronomy: Earth Not a Globe, that reignited the debate on the shape of the Earth and its place in the Universe. The Universal Zetetic Society was established to gather all the followers that believed in the flatness of Earth. As the movement gained momentum and evolved, the International Flat Earth Research Society, which is, at this moment, the largest and most important organization that challenges the heliocentric theory.

In order to support the theory on the flatness of Earth, some experimental evidence has been gathered, the flat Earth map was enacted and the space travel was dismissed entirely. The most important conclusion is that the truth is still out there and mankind still has to explore the limits of the cosmos.

Precisely the challenges proposed by the Flat Earth Research Society motivates us to pursue in a journey to get closer to the truth. By providing only raw, unmodified footage and facts, we will try to be as objective as possible when assessing the findings and propose only well-documented and equidistant resolutions.

We want to lunch meteorological balloons into the stratosphere as high as possible, multiple times, each time covering more and more suggestions and doubts so that eventually everybody will agree to one conclusion.

Every lunch will be documented as transparent as possible, with live footage available all over the world. 2 high end cameras. 2 high end 360 cameras. All this will be possible using the latest satellite internet connection that will provide live, unaltered footage of the balloon rise and fall. The optics will be stabilized with the help of an on board gyroscope and a drone. After the first flight is complete, we will use the data to prepare for the second flight, that would be much more informative based on the suggestions and weaknesses found by the community, giving an exponential data precision by the 10th lunch or so.

One of the other goals is to experiment with the drone flight at that height, making it controllable through the internet connection. If that is possible, we will try to ascend even higher for a much better view. The drone will be able to capture data on our will and focus on what the community desires. This will also help with different theories related to the space and earth, like the existence of the moon and so on.
