"How can I make you love me?" is a student horror/drama based film.

Logline:

Receiving a heart of a suicidal, an organ transplant patient must fight an evil voice from taking control or else she loses her father forever.

Synopsis:

A primary school girl, Abigail underwent a heart transplant, resulting in a series of strange behaviours. It turns out the heart Abigail received was from a suicidal patient Mandy, who was neglected by her father like Abigail was. Now Abigail must fight Mandy from taking control or else she will lose her father forever.

Why are we making this film?

We are making this film to question whether it is right to always prioritise other things above your own family, especially your child.

We want to show how much a child might feel towards their parents. To them, they do their best in everything to make them proud and ensure it as they don’t want to be labelled as a disappointment by their parents.

The reason why we want to create this film is that we want to show parents out there that your child might not be your first priority but you are their first priority.

This story is especially close to our team’s heart as it reflects our own life stories as we inputted it in the film. This is not just a film. It is our life story.

Film inspiration:

As inspiration, we took up Ari Aster’s style of storytelling in Hereditary. We did not want this film to be senseless jump scares only but input emotions and intensity for the audience to not only be scared but feel for the characters.
