HOUSING PROJECT for SAULOG FAMILY

The Saulog family was one of the fire victims on April 15, 201, in Palatiw, Pasig City. Venessa’s mother had been working in Saudi Arabia for many years to provide for their family’s needs and to slowly renovate their house. Then the fire happened just when they were about to finish renovations.

Everything they had was taken by the fire.

It was an incredibly tough time for the Saulog family to recover and find hope in their situation.

For four years they have been living like without a door to keep them safe at night, they have to ride a trycicle or take a 5-minute walk to a public market everytime just to use the bathroom.

One day, through JFM Foundation’s Public School Daily Feeding Program, Venessa Saulog was connected to us. Vanessa has been faithfully attending church and volunteering in our feeding outreaches despite her and her family’s living situation.

She has been active in our Life Groups (Bible Study) around their area and only then did we discover their living situation.

She has been a blessing to many people inspite of the hardship they face. Which is why we created this fund raising project to help improve their living situation. We believe that it is our duty to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

If we work together, we can show God’s love and extend hope to Vanessa and her family.
