House Repairs, Turn a House Into a Home

I moved into my house and started to have it remodeled. After having the entire house stripped down, I run into one setback after another from termite damage, rotten floor, leaking roof, inadequate septic system, and contaminated well water. Now I'm dealing with the financial hardship of being unemployed. So I'm currently living in a 20 by 20 room in my house with my boyfriend, who is a disabled veteran and is now trying to pay all the bills, along with two dogs. So I decided to finally ask for some help. Thank you.
