The House of Daraa opened in 2015 to provide education for orphaned children in Syria. The school provides regular classes and 2 meals 5 days a week, giving the a sense of normality they had been robbed of. 85 children are currently enrolled: all of them have lost at least one of the 2 parents. Every month we support the school by covering the rent, salaries, food, and school bus. From time to time we also pay for ad-hoc projects according to the specific needs of the children, to improve the facilities and make the children even happier.
Our fantastic team on the ground works tirelessly and with great care and involvement to run the school at the highest possible standard. This school helps the poor, the displaced and the orphaned, and it is our dream to ensure they continue to receive the support, safety and education every child deserves.
This Christmas please help us to support the costs of the House of Daraa and make sure that these children can have access to education for many more years to come.
