House got burgled in a new city

Had shifted to a new city for my first job after college. 3 months into the new place, yesterday I returned home to see that the place had been burgled. They took away all my hard earned savings in the form of my MacBook. There was not a whole lot more to take away except some clothes and a trimmer. So they left the other stuff, and took my MacBook along with the charger :(. Filed a police complaint, but as they say, in India if you lose something, the chances of getting it back are less than winning a billion dollar lottery.

It was very close to my heart as I could manage to purchase it only after months of savings from my internships and other freelance work.

Would be great if some of you well-wishers out there could help me get back on track and restore some of my lost faith in humanity by donating whatever you can so I could get a new laptop and heal some of the scar that this is incident has left on my heart.
