House Deposit for me= crash pad for life you

I really need to be able to buy a house- I've been working for years and years but only earn enough to get from month to month. Saving for a deposit is looking impossible, and it's so disheartening to see all my money disappear in rent. I want to invest in a house, so it's not all lost, but need the deposit to start off.
