Hot Meal For The Hungry

My name is Margaret Jacobs, I am a member of a community called Meadowlands. I and a few members of the community are hosting a community meal day on the 13th of March 2021.

The day is about feeding people of the community by giving each member a hot cooked meal that includes a beverage as well.

The reason for this meal day is due to the hard times that people have encountered in the past couple of months during the pandemic. This is testing time for many individuals and families, people have lost their jobs and are unable to put food on the table due to lack of finances.

The funds raised will be used to hire gas stoves and large pots, to buy the necessary ingredients that will be cooked and a number of other things that will be needed for a successful day of feeding the community.

Your donations will be truly appreciated for a successful event. Let's do our part as people to help each other, even though the pandemic has taken so much from us, we need to work together to get through this tough time.
