Im going to Tanzania, Africa this summer (16 June) to work as a volunteer at local hospitals, reparing medicotechnical equipment.
Im attending the Duke Summer institute Summer program, which requires me to raise 6500$ - furthermore I have to raise money for equipment, vaccinations, flight tickets, insurance and gifts to bring to Tanzania.
Im 31 years old, and studying at Aalborg University at the institute "school of medicine and health" - Im participating in this program to make a difference for other people, but also as a part of my education. Developing the health sector in a country like Tanzania is of great importance, and will help Tanzania in the process of becoming a stable and steady country in positive growth.
