Campaign Story
Hello everyone, so my name is Laura Russell and I'm 17 from Canberra, Australia. So a few months ago I tried to apply as a volunteer at the Canberra hospital but unfortunately you have to be over 18 to do so. Earlier tonight (November 2nd) I was looking at the volunteer page again and tried to think of how I could help even though I can't volunteer. Then I thought how much I would hate to be in a hospital on Christmas, and I decided that I would try to make Christmas at the hospital special. Basically I want to donate a bunch of toys to the hospital so that all the kids there get a special Christmas present. Along with it not being much fun to be in a hospital room over Christmas, there is also the factor of hospital bills for the parents, which further inspired me to try to do this.
