Help Fund Fiza’s Hospital Bills

Assalamualaikum and hi to all brothers and sisters..

My name is Nurhafizah Jumali and I would like to ask a small favour from you. Last year, I was diagnosed with ovarian tumor and I have been through lots of treatments from Hospital Ampang but the tumor is now continuously growing from 8cm to 15cm and it is malignant in nature. Based on the ct scan and blood test, the doctor advised me to undergo a major surgery on the 14.2.2019 which involved surgical removal of the tumor and the affected right ovary, the surgery of appendix and PLND surgery. My surgery on 14.2 unfortunately has been postponed by the anaesthetist due to prolonged cough as I was suspected to have tuberculosis. Unfortunately the doctor who handled my case failed to remember that I have a prolonged cough and thus the surgery was cancelled. It has caused me emotional turmoil as I am so depressed and after requesting to speak with the psychiatrist, my favour has been referred as outpatient and I have to be on their waiting list again. Later on, I was given a referral letter to go to government clinic for tuberculosis check up. Alhamdulillah the test turned to be negative and the second attempt for the ward admission will be on the 13.3.2019. However, I have to be on the waiting list again as the doctor will prioritise cancer cases. Also, when checking with the specialist on 27.2.2019, the result was not that good as my cervix is bleeding and the doctor was worried but she reminded me that she needs to prioritise those who have cancer surgeries. Therefore, right now I am on painkillers most of the time. It will be a great opportunity if I could raise funds so that I could expedite the surgery by going to the private hospital as soon as possible as the case has been prolonged almost 4 months already. I would really appreciate it and it will be a great help from all of you.

Ovarian tumors are most often benign, however, some types may develop into ovarian cancer if left untreated. My case is not yet confirmed to be cancerous but the LDH result coming from the blood test is really high as the reading is 210 and it worries me. Although it terribly scares me, life must go on and I believe there is hikmah behind all this and I have to stay strong.

Since I am not working currently, it is really difficult for me to fork out money for the hospital bills and also to cover my daily expenses for house rental, food, utility bills etc. If the case is cancerous, the surgery will cost even more.
