It's heartbreaking to bring your father just for a test procedure and going home still with him, but now wrapped in cloth.
My father started fainting back in August 2017, back and forth trips to the ICU because of his low heart rate. Back then, whenever it happens, he immediately gets better after medications and close monitoring. He managed to go back to his normal everyday life. Managing his own business center (photocopy/rush id/printing), tending to his ducks and doing his duty as a husband, father, brother and friend. On January 6, 2019 he had his first heart attack. Sunday morning, after feeding the ducks, he told his wife, my mother that he is not feeling well and would like to rest. Later around 10:00 am he started wailing in agony telling us he cannot breathe and his chest hurts really bad, minutes later my father passed out. We managed to bring him to the nearest hospital and was asked to transfer immediately because they lack in equipment in the facility. So we brought him to the next nearest hospital and there he was accepted. They managed to stabilize his vitals and was admitted for 6 days for monitoring. He obviously can't breath well but he is saying he is fine. Being a concerned head of the family I know he only said so because of the hospital bill going up. He was discharged but still feeling weak. My father wanted to get better and agreed to do angiogram. On this day January 23 2019, I accompanied my dad to the hospital. My mom was already there running around with the hopes of lowering the expense. We went to the lab for my father's scheduled angiogram. While doing the procedure, my dad's vitals went down and they had to do an emergency angioplasty. They couldn't remove the blockage in his heart and caused my father to expire. Unexpected, we have raised money just for the price of angiogram for 35,000php already with charity discount my mother worked on. Our total hospital bill was 128,197.44php plus the supplies for 102,000php. With the help of our relatives, we were able to pay an initial payment of 50,000php. The rest of the amount for the hospital bill needs to be settled before we can claim our father's death certificate so we can bury him on Tuesday. Any amount will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
