Tanks roam our street, and mom takes me away at night by bike. This terrible memory is like a bright flash comes from my childhood. That war many years ago has redefined my family's life.

And here again, the war.

Did you know that my name means hope? Translated into English, it sounds like hope. But now I have no one to hope for, nowhere to seek salvation. Now I am the rescuer. And my elderly mother and my baby hope for me.

And I rely on God and on you, concerned brothers and sisters. Each of you with any amount gives me a chance for a decent life in a war.

War is always ugly

Ever since the war was begun in my country, the grave times have come for many of us, residents of Ukraine.

This fratricidal war that tearing my country apart in behalf and in the interests of "the mighty of this world" is prohibitively expensive for us. And the cannibalistic reforms of Ukrainian puppet Government ultimately plunged us into hopeless poverty.

Irresistible acute fear! That is what I feel looking to the future as the political and economic life of my country has considerably worsened.

Great thanks to God, the Government has preserved my mom`s old-day pension. Others in the military actions territory have lost their payments with the last hope and their right to survival.

Hope never dies

I desperately need help to get my family back on feet. lately, i lost my "stable" job. But untill that I fell ill and have been underggoing surgery twice. Then a long rehabilitation period followed. Finally, my family`s entire savings that I was collecting within the last years, have been spent on the recovery.

I now take odd jobs to support my family. But I feel that I do not cope with the challenge. And I afraid that I alone may not be able to pull my family out of the abyss of poverty.

For some time we live in the conditions of the Stone Age. Our house is frozen, there is no hot water, and food has to be cooked on the fire. And this is Ukraine - Europe! Private companies have deprived us of gas because of the accumulated debt for the heating season.

The biggest my expectation is to give my mom and son the full life and a promising future.

I have a plan, an idea for the money business. And the only thing I miss to start is money. I need an initial investment in order to break free.

Help me to launch my plan and change our lives for the better.

I believe that your help will be returned many times over.

I am always open to your questions, advice and recommendations. Look forward to your letters.

Thank you!

An ordinary mom Nadia

PS:

“Pay it forward”

There are many, many people in need in Ukraine. They all are my neighbours and that`s why I want to share my recourses with someone else if I can.

So I decided to help to the lonely elderly people that are in dire need of food and medicine. They are living at the nursing home on the waterfront. And they are our parents, undeservedly forgotten by all of us.
