Homeless people need foods

Hi everyone!

My name is Jovenne, Local Malaysian. I wanted to help homeless and street man in Penang. Two weeks ago, my family and I invested some savings in order to provide food to the homeless peoples and street man.

We went to Tesco and purchased enough ingredients to cook for them packed rice and then delivery to few homeless people collection area, Komtar Bus Stations, Chinese Temples, Penang Road, Jelutong Market. I took all day to prepare the ingredients and cook by myself, preparing food for such huge quantities is tough, I need more hands and more people to helping me.

With scarce access to resources, we often use our own personal funds to provide them food keep them warm even they sleep on the street but not get hungry. They needs most basic necessities such as rice, bread, milo drinks, rain suit, shoe, used clothes & blankets.

We would like to provide food and these basic household for them weekly but we aren't afford to spend that kind of money each month. We are going to have another giveaway day once we get the funds so we can helps more than 600 peoples weekly. It's a huge money to cook for more than 600 peoples. We need your help.

Therefore, I turn to all those I know and love to assist me in whatever capacity is possible to assist me to continue on this mission to ensure the poorest peoples are not forgotten and left behind.

Together, we can make a real difference to get better living for more than thousands of poor peoples. I hope more volunteers to join us to working on this weekly events. We will keep this post updates and I will also create a instagram to share.
