Hope For The Gibbons

Hello we are the Gibbons family. I'm Amanda.  I'm doing this to raise money for my husband's medical bills and for money to keep our home. So let me tell the story....... March 17, 2014 my husband Ryan was driving abig truck the last ice storm we had. He stopped to back a delivery at Freedom Beverages. He noticed there was ice on the steps, so he carefully made his way up them. On his was back down he was trying to carefully come back down them but he didn't succeed.  He feel down all SIX metal steps.  Well because of that fall he hurt his neck, right shoulder, and left knee. Worker's compensation picked the case up. He went to the doctor's, it seemed like every other day. At the beginning of April his worker's compensation pay started. Everything was going ok. Well at the end of April the checks stop coming. So we got a lawyer, come to find out they some how or another found away to deny his case. Since then we have had to move from our home in to an apartment and have lost one of the two cars we had. Thankfully his mother and father offered to help us get an apartment so we could all stay together. So his parents got us an apartment, paid for the months worth of rent, and we had enough money to get the utilities turned on. His knee has got alot better over the months. It isn't 100% but he can walk really good now. On June 7th he had a spinal fusion done on C4, C5, & C6. Now his shoulder hasn't gotten any better, but come August 8th if it still hasn't changed they are going to start the processors for surgery on it too. Now we are struggling. We have rent, power, water, private health insurance policy (because he no longer receives insurance from work), car & renters insurance. Plus now we owe $5,000 in medical bills for his neck. That's not even with the shoulders surgery yet. So what I'm asking from you is to donate anything, even if it's a dollar. I'm a mother trying to keep her family together and take care of my husband. Plus work! My income isn't enough, Ryan was the sole bread winner for our family.  Please anything will help!
