If you're like me you probably wish to all you can to help the success of future generations. And if you're like me you probably want to start a scholarship fund to make education possible for all deserving students from college and beyond! And if you are even more like me, you aren't quite on the financial level to start a scholarship bureau to help said students.

Have no fear! Hope for the Future of Medicine is your opportunity to make a small contribution to the educational opportunities of one deserving student! Hope Ferguson is a dilligent student who has through her own efforts of earning scholarships and working small side jobs, styling hair, and working as a University resident advisor was able to put herself through the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where she earned a BS degree in Biochemistry. Graduating Cum Laude and wishing to repay several Undergraduate loans dedicated a year of her time to serving the underserved communities of Washington DC with City Year. City Year gives grounds for Hope to exercise her belief in the power of education to help students in whose shoes she once stood, use education as an avenue out of the cycle of poverty.

Hope for the Future of education is a project aimed at funding the next steps in Hope Ferguson's education: the medical school application process. Applying to medical school entails preparing for the MCAT exam, paying for application fees, and traveling to interviews and is rather costly. This project, once fully funded will lift the financial stress of the process and allow Hope Ferguson to enter medical school and be on her way to being one of the great doctors who will become the future of medicine!
