Hope For Marlyn!

Marlyn needs your help while she continues to "Hope For A Cure."

In 2016 our family met Marlyn when our mother/grandmother was a resident at a nursing facility where Marlyn was employed. Marlyns bright, bubbly personality and beautiful smile always made our mother/grandmother's face light up when Marlyn walked in her room. Our family will always be grateful for the moments of joy Marlyn brought into our mother/grandmother's life. Our beloved mother/grandmother went to live in her heavenly home on August 15, 2018. We are all sure she must have been looking down from heaven and smiling when just a month later on September 5, 2018, Marlyn became an official member of our family when she married our brother/dad Jeff.

There's rarely a time you see Marlyn without a smile on her face or laughter echoing from her sweet, honest, caring personality. She has positively touched our lives and all that come in contact with her. This past summer Marlyn noticed a small lump on her left breast and without hesitance scheduled a mammogram to further investigate. After the mammogram she was advised she needed a biopsy for a closer look. The biopsy confirmed all our worst fears, Cancer!

On August 5th, Marlyn was diagnosed with Stage Two Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC). This type of cancer is described as being aggressive and fast spreading. Scans have shown that currently Marlyns IDC is contained only in her left breast. Marlyn's portal was placed in her chest on September 14th and shortly after she began her chemotherapy treatments. She will continue Chemo treatments till March of 2022 and will follow up with surgery and radiation.

Due to her declining health and the type of job position where she is employed, she has not been able to return to work since starting her treatments. We are asking for donations to help cover her financial needs during this time of crisis, so that Marlyn can focus on her healing and not worry so much concerning her increasing financial responsibilities.
