Hope for Jake: My journey with Cerebral Palsy

Our son Jake is 3 years now. He was born very prematurely together with his twin sister Christina. Christina unfortunately passed away when she was 9 months old. Because of prematurity, Jake has cerebral palsy which affects all aspects of his development. He started therapies as soon as he was discharged from hospital. However despite all the effort and hard work, at two years old he didn't do much improvement, in fact he wasn't even rolling over. We searched for other possible solutions and we came across the Anat Baniel Method, which we decided to give it a try. The majority of practitioners that practice such method, live in the United States. Due to the pandemic we did online sessions with one practitioners that lives in America, and after 8 online lessons, our son learnt how to roll over completely on his own. When we saw such improvement we knew that this is what our son needs to improve and have a better quality of life. We took him to this practitioner last April and he did so many improvements, one of which was the ability to bear weight on his hands and knees. Progress is slow and therefore we need to travel to America more than once which is so expensive! We would love to take him again to America for 5 whole weeks next July/ August but we require financial help to be able to do so. We would be so thankful for any donation you can donate!
