Hope for Helenvale.

Since last year I am teaching at an impoverished school in the poorest part of Port Elizabeth, where unemployment, drug abuse and gang violence is rife. In my class of 29 learners, half of them are mildly to severely Cognitively handicapped. The teachers at the school have to dig into their own pockets to buy teaching resources for their own classes. In my case the special needs learners ( 8 - 11 years old) need appropriate teaching resources to enhance their cognitive development , which brought me to this site to reach out for any sort of assistance.
