Hope for Dada – Dada’s fight against Lung Cancer

We are posting this in behalf of our Tita Dada, Imelda Lorenzo.

Dear family & friends,

Our Tita Dada was recently diagnosed with Lung Cancer. To help prevent the spread to other parts of her body, she was advised to undergo SURGERY ASAP. As told by her Doctor, the surgery alone would cost roughly around P500K excluding after surgery medications and other tests required. We humbly ask for any financial assistance and for your prayers as we help our Tita Dada fight Lung Cancer.

Dada’s Story:

In December of 2021, our family received the devastating news that gloomed our Christmas season. Our Auntie/Tita of 62 years old known by her friends and family as “Dada” was diagnosed with a developing tumor in her lungs. She has worked in the UAE for 35 years, and it was last year that the diagnosis ended her tenure as a family driver for the same employer in that span of 35 years. December 28, 2021, Dada Lorenzo came home to the Philippines. But instead of spending time enjoying with her family and friends, she had to make frequent visits to the hospital for a series of tests and was bombarded with medical expenses. Apart from Cancer, she is also suffering from multiple illnesses such as Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertension and Glaucoma. With the increasing medical expenses, the family is struggling to make both ends meet. We would appreciate any help from family and friends so our beloved Tita Dada would have a chance to fight and win this battle. We hope to see the day wherein our Tita Dada is healthy enough to enjoy the remaining years of her life with her grandchildren and family- Cancer free.
