Hope for children

Dear people

I recently visited a "shelter/school" for 16 Rohingyan refugee children + their families in Pokok Sena. It is located in A small shop lot where they all sleep and supposedly go to school. The children all live there. Here are a few of the pictures of this place. There are no proper table and chairs, hardly any books or stationeries. Most of their fathers work as construction workers and they share the cost of renting the place. As most of you know Rohingyan refugees do not have access to free education, jobs or health here in Malaysia. It is definitely painful to see children not given the chance to study and learn when they definitely want to. Therefore I really wish we could all do something bout this. I would like to raise funds to buy them proper table and chairs + provide them w books and stationeries

If you are keen in helping them out here are the ways,

1. donate money to allow me to fund raise for them (bank into my account)

2. Buy the items yourself (books, pens and pencils, white board etc) and pass them to me

3. Donate some of ur old books or stationeries ( THOSE THAT ARE IN GOOD CONDITION )

A small act of kindness definitely goes a long way for these children and their families. Let's not forget that we were all given the privilege to education and never had to fight for our right, let's give these children hope and allow them to at least learn to write read and count as we all
