The children of Hope for life Community International need your help for the most basic items. They are learning to use the sewing machines that have been bought, and are hoping to be able to make some clothes and the washable sanitary wear. They will need materials for this and to help with their basic food and schooling. This page has been set up to raise funds which will equip these children with a future and health. Please donate what you can when you can. Terry posts photo’s on Facebook to show how your money has been spent. https://www.facebook.com/hopeforlifecommunityinternational/?pnref=lhc

The children are back at school, we are raising for their education items and sewing items, and the boys are looking to be educated in engineering so books will need to be bought and posted. Please help our ongoing efforts to equip these children for a productive future in their country.

I have been making silk head squares and sewing packs and 50 washable sanitary towes for girls presents, i bought punch balloons, light balloons, harmonicas flutes whistles, soft toys, footballs pink and white cakes, wafer biscuits, Koolaid, jelly custard and much more, all sent over to Uganda, Thanks so much for all of your donations. I will keep you updated Ivan will post pics.

Oh and went to charity shops for football tops, (posting costs £19 for 2kg. any help is just so gratefully accepted. I want these children to smile at Christmas. It has been so amazing planning and parcelling as much as i can with as little weight as possible. I take off all packaging and recycle here as the infrastructure in Uganda is minimal, this is a bonus however as I can send more.

I bought Ivan a power bank/torch for his phone as the ability to charge any device is a very short period of the day.

This is an ongoing project that you can dip into when you feel you have a little money to spare. These children are precious and need to smile, thank you on behalf of the children

The school has purchased a sewing machine, see the picture posted. No electricity means manual sewing machines, these have not been used in our country for years but are an important resource for the school to teach a skill. Help them buy more giving them a hope for the future
