Sadly it was not meant to be. My beautiful daughter went to rest at 4:45am today.

Thank you to every single one of you who made donations. At this time of deep distress we do not have the added pressure of finances.

God bless you all

What do I say, still comatose with physical reactions to painful stimuli. My baby needs to wake up soon.

A sincere thank you to each and every donor every donation means everything to us.

A special shout out to friends and family in Malawi for all your fundraising efforts in such difficult economic times.

Chanelle is still comatose but stable. They are slowly weaning her off the ventilator as she's taking more breaths on her own

God bless you all

Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for all your donations.

Chanelle is still in a coma and had started responding but has had a little setback since yesterday

Please continue to keep her in your prayers and thoughts.

Well it's been a weekend of highs! Chanelle is moving her eyes and according to the physiotherapist blinked a couple of times.

She's also responding to painful stimuli and coughing.

We know it's early days yet but we thank the Almighty for every little sign of hope.

I have no idea how to describe today. Chanelle took a teeny weeny step today, she responded to pain stimuli. Yes we know it's a long difficult road ahead and nothing is certain but we revel in this tiny change.

I got my little "sign" that I asked for🙏

Now let's continue to pray for further healing of the brain. Looking for responses from her pupils now.

Much love

FIrst and foremost a heartfelt thank you for all the donations thus far. I can't begin to describe how it makes a heartbreaking situation that little bit more bearable.

Brain injuries notoriously take a long time to heal and it's a fact that in order to buy her more time we need to have money. Lots of it! it would kill me to have to pull the plug because of a lack of money.

Chanelle's abdominal injuries are healing nicely but she is still in a coma. She is slowly increasing the number of breaths she takes on her own, but for the most part we just sit and wait with bated breath.

Thank you once again for your generosity and compassion.

Pam

Dear Chanelle! I do not know you personally, my dear, but I know your dad Amilcare and your auntie Rosy, with who I had a wonderful time when we were young! So you are important to me as well! May God help you! Gabi Uher-Korn, Vienna
