Hope for Ala

Jemara Bagsican or Ala is a 23 year-old cheerful young woman who hails from Dipolog. She was found neglected in backyard shelter no bigger than dog’s cage when she was rescued from her relatives in El Nido, Palawan. She weighed 28 kilos when she was found.

For only one hundred thousand pesos (100,000PHP), Ala can get better. She needs to undergo a basic operation to remove abscess from her lungs but without the much funds it’s only a matter of time that her lungs will fully give up.
