Campaign Story
“The elderly are not burdens to be euthanized. They are lifetimes of wisdom to be honoured and celebrated.”
Adjoa Ampoma is a 60 year old diabetic lady living alone in a tiny ramshackle structure at Mataheko, a suburb of Accra. She has no source of income nor any family/community support hence can’t afford to cater for her medical expenses to cope with her illness. A wound which has developed on her left leg, worsens day after day which has made her completely unable to walk.
Kindness can transform someone’s dark moment with a blaze of light. Help make a difference in the life of Madam Adjoa to give her a long overdue medical attention and an adequate place to call a home.
