Hookah Lounge

Hello everybody, my name is Nemanja and I’m from Bosnia. My idea is to open a hookah lounge in the Serbian part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Interestingly enough, this would probably be one of the few if not the only hookah lounge in this part of Bosnia. My city’s population is around 30000, including 5000 students who are the target group of my plan.  In the past, I’ve heard countless complaints from the students about the lack of “cool” venues in our city. They all wanted to see something new emerge, especially because most of them don’t find it very entertaining and enjoyable to go to local bars and clubs that are usually overcrowded, only play local “turbo folk music”, and most of them don’t even have a dance floor. My idea is to break the routine of local bars and offer something refreshing. Start a place where those young people will be able to socialize and relax in a homelike atmosphere while enjoying their cup of coffee/tea or some other beverage and, of course, a quality hookah flavor. During the day, this place would be some sort of a living room where people will be able to listen to Jazz, Rock, Salsa, Blues, and some Middle Eastern tunes, while the evening transformation will bring live gigs and a dance floor. My goal is to break the local bubble and offer a new perspective to the community as a whole. The number of students is increasing every year, people are coming from all over Bosnia and other countries from the region, but the city does nothing in order to welcome this influx of youngsters and make them experience new things. I am doing this with another friend of mine and so far we have found a venue, but we still need another financial injection to decorate the place and buy 10 more hookahs, as well as some other minor things.
