This is Khun "Sam" Kunan, ex Thai Navy Seal. He has been honored as a hero in his country for not only his efforts in his service to the Navy Seals but recently for his efforts trying to save 12 kids who were trapt in a cave. He delivered oxygen tanks 10km deep into a cave but failed to save enough oxygen for his own life for the trip back.
This short video will tell you the complete story.
This campaign is created to provide a direct donation bridge to his family. As a Thai native, 100% of the donations will go to this publicly announced family bank account. Image located below.
He gave his life to save the team and lost his. What we need to realize is that he left behind a family. A little goes a long way and with a goal of only $3,000.00, it can help the family monetarily as they find the strength to go on without him.
Once we achieve this goal of only $3,000.00 (close to $100,000.00 THB) we will update this page of the bank transfer receipt and also a printed page of a card written to his family with all the donators and messages and the link to this campaign.
Exclusive video of Khun Sam's wife and Father. You even see his mother faint at the funeral.
In the video the Wife saying "We are so thankful for everyones support. Thank you for coming today. I beg everyone to please wait and be patient for these 12 children to be rescued (as of today 7/10 ALL the kids have been rescued). Everyone is working together to help get these kids out. Please give them time. Right now I am happy that everyone is coming together to help rescue these kids and my husband is still helping them from above. He told me before he left for this crisis that he wouldn't give up."
Dad is saying "I am both sad and I am happy. Happy because his son got to go his own path. The way he chose. Things that will happen will happen. I'm not mad at anyone because his life was written this way. It was his time."
