“Zach loved going home, because his sweet wife, Kenzie was there.” –those words are from Glenda, the mother of Zachary Hill.
Deeply in love, Zach and Mackenzie married on January 23, 2015 and began their happy life together. They had many plans and decades of adventures to look forward to.
On Friday January 15, a week before their one-year wedding anniversary, Zach collapsed at work. CPR was performed. He was rushed to the hospital, but Zach did not survive.
Devastated. Heartbroken. Crushed. Stunned. Tears for many hours. Grief beyond words. The deepest sorrow and pain is what his wife, family, and friends are feeling now.
We all knew Zach as a man with a friendly smile, a kind heart, and a wonderful sense of humor. He was an army veteran who fought bravely in Iraq, a wonderful son, a brother, an uncle, a writer of many books, a historian, an artist and illustrator, a great friend, and a devoted husband.
He did not want to leave her. All of this memorial fund will go to Kenzie, his loving wife to support her in this devastating time.
Please honor and support the memory of one of the nicest and truly great men we have ever known, Zachary Hill.
We do this, because we are still here. We will rally around our fallen friend and his family. We will honor Zach’s memory, and help them in the times ahead. We love him and we will miss him forever.
For Zach.
