Campaign Story
Hello, we are Nick and Ashley Hoefly, passionate beekeepers in the heart of New York City. Our journey began with a single hive on our rooftop, leading us to establish Astor Apiaries. Over the years, we've been dedicated to not only producing delicious honey but also educating our community about the importance of bees in our ecosystem.
Why We Need Your Support
As we look to the future, we have been building NYC's first honey and bee experience shop called The Honey House at Astor Apiaries. This space will not only allow us to share our products but also serve as a hub for beekeeping enthusiasts, workshops, and community engagement. However, setting up a physical store in the city comes with its challenges, especially financial ones.

Every dollar you contribute will be channeled directly into:
- Finishing Renovations: Helping us get across the finish line with our kitchen buildout and workshop space.
- Educational Materials: For workshops and community outreach programs.

Beginning of National Honey Month...

Did you know September is officially National Honey Month?? The first week of the month has been sweltering here in NYC. The bees are bearding like crazy(hanging off the front of the hives to cool the inside of the hive), but they are still keeping busy foraging. We are seeing. . . . .
Final Honey Harvest...

This morning we did our first honey extraction of the season, and hopefully our last extraction at our old honey room. The new kitchen in The Honey House will be an amazing experience to check out with honey harvesting and bottling demos regularly happening. The kitchen will be part of. . . . .
