Honey Bee Discovery Centre

Thanks for stopping by. We have been given free use of an old plant centre by a local tudor hall.

Our vision is an education centre to educate people (primarily children) about honeybees, honey and pollination. The centre is designed so children can get close to honeybees and see inside hives through a camera and window system.

We will also offer the opportunity for children to taste honey straight from the hive, helping them ake the link between bees and honey.

We have set up a honeybee friendly gardens, to show people how easy it is to help save to honey bee, even without a garden through a series of containers.

We need to complete the area around the hives, the cabling for the camera and get the interactive exhibits finished

We need to do this by the September to get schools in for educational visits.
