Share the Good News!
You can help share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the Garifuna People Group along the coast of Honduras. Wycliff recently finished translating the Bible into their native language. Only 6% of the Garifunas have a personal relationship with Christ.
Project Description
United by Grace Church of San Antonio, Texas is taking teams to do mission work with the Garifunas in July, 2014 for nine days. The teams will be working in two Garifuna communities in collaboration with two local Garifuna churches. The goal is to raise funding that will enable 20 team members to do the following projects: Summer Bibles Schools, Church Leadership Training, Healthcare Clinics, Family & Parenting Workshops, Construction of church restrooms, painting a church, and building a children's classroom. Trip participants are paying for their own airfare and raising funds to cover remaining expenses of the mission trip.
