Homesick

I met my husband in 2007 on MySpace. At that time I was about to give up on life because I was very sick with liver cancer and in great pain. I was fighting with chemo and my daughter had a rough time accepting it. She was a teenager but did everything she could to take care of me. One day she told me: "Mom, you must reach out and talk to people. Music was always so important to you and there`s a site where you can talk with other people about music". Signing up on MySpace was the best suggestion ever. I met my soulmate there and I started fighting to live again! I lived in Germany, he in America and we had the hardest 4 years from 2007 to 2011. We talked on the phone every day and we saw each other maybe twice a year. In 2011 we could not stand to be so far away from each other, so we got married and my husband sold everything he had and came to Germany. He left his family to be with me. His Mom is now 84 and she needs us there. So now it`s my turn to leave my home in Germany and stand with him in America. We are both in poor health, can not work and we need money to start over. We`re both old now 58 & 61 so without help it will not work. It would be so great if we could spend Christmas with the family again and find a place where we can spend the rest of our lifes.
