Help me get home!

Homesick, scared and hopeful for your help.

This past year my life, like a lot of others came crashing down due to covid, I lost my job and my home and all prospects of future income, I worked in the events industry and being self employed unfortunately meant I wasn't eligible for any help. I struggled on through and in December my sister decided to fly me out to Colombia so I could stay with her for a while and not worry about not being able to make rent and so on, it was great, but when I was looking into coming home, the UK government imposed the hotel quarantine scheme, it's a great idea, and I'm glad they're looking out of the safety of people, but unfortunately the price is much higher than anything I can afford. I am now stuck in Colombia, and the usually fairly safe country is going crazy with protests, and with my visa about to run out, it's time for me to go home.

I need help funding my mandatory quarantine, if I'm lucky enough to receive donations over the amount required, I'm going to use it to help fund medical bills by people hurt during these protests.
