THIS IS WHY I CANT GET HOUSING

What the Government said :There is no national data on the number of people excluded from public housing because of criminal records, or even the number of people with criminal records who would be ineligible if they applied.But we know that there are several million ex-felons in the United States; under current housing policies, EVERYONE CONVICTED OF A FELONY IS AUTOMATICALLY INELIGIBLE FOR A MINIMUN OF FIVE YEARS.We also know that there are tens of millions of Americans who have been convicted of misdemeanors, or merely arrested but never convicted of any offense, and they too can be and often are excluded from public housing on the basis of their criminal records.

What I said: I am a reformed ex Federal felon who cannot get housing in the state of Texas I was told by Housing Authority and by real estate agents and by the state of Texas itself as an ex Federal felon I cannot get housing in the state of Texas but they will House State sex offenders they will House State murderers they will House State drug dealers but not Federal White Collar criminals am non-violent non-sexual non drugs I was told to get a single family detached home because federal criminals are highly skilled and they usually have a intelligence to gain access to things most of society are not privileged to and it also looks bad on their rental audit I am currently unemployed and really need help I sleep in the Deep Ellum area of Dallas Texas by the Deep Ellum Community Gardens you see my wagon in my chair and I'm sitting in the everyday on Canton and Good Latimer I am very honest straight forthcoming straightforward as real as they get and I just want a place to live I clean up everywhere I go and i do my best to protect people with my life so unless society doesn't believe in giving people second chances because I have no help because I'm trying I had three jobs and I found out I was working for nothing so I'm trying I need help please help me I'm not trash that you have to clean up I am a homeless treasure I just need a little dusting off so that I can get myself together when I reach my goal I'll have my house I have a business setup my money will become self a perpetuating and self-replicating so that I can continue on doing what I need to do to survive in the world and that I can help others in my situation thank you and God bless you
