To anyone who is in a position to help -

My uncle lost his job and he has Parkinson's Disease. He has a wife and 4 children, the youngest being just over 1 years. They were finally evicted from their flat and he reached out to me his niece where I found them all sitting on the pavement. My fiance and I live in a bachelor flat and have no money to help them but I cannot let them carry on moving from place to place just with bags in their hands and fear on their faces.. I did try and find them a room for the night at a few places but because they are a mixed family it was a bit tricky. I am grateful to have found them a room at a hotel approx. 2 blocks from our bachelor. The rate was affordable for the next 2 nights - and then I don't know. My fiance and I are willing to try and give them a chance to try and become self-sustainable but we know this is only going to be possible if they are able to stay in this area for at least another 3 weeks. I will help his wife and oldest son to find work, most likely shift work but this will bring in enough for them to at least keep on paying the rate of the room they are in on their own. It may not be much - but at least it means they will have a roof over their heads and they will be able to stay together. If they end up having to go to a shelter they will no doubt be split apart and I cannot allow that to happen. The past should no longer matter - no-matter what my Uncle may or may not have done - no matter who in his family he upset for whatever reason... He does not deserve to die in the street. He does not deserve to die in the street.
