Homeless Shelter For Social-Economic Impact

For me, success has less to do with what we gain in life or accomplish for ourselves, instead, it's more about what we do for others. It's about propelling the less privilege with courage and hope, that they also may rise beyond their limitations and be better versions of themselves. This potentially does not impact only the individual, but also the community at large.

In retrospect, I have myself as an example. With almost no resources nor hope of what the future could look like, but possessing a fierce courage and a determined mindset, I knew I had no excuse to fail whatsoever, despite the thousands of limitations I face.

I have seen many out-of-school youngsters, with so much desire to change their world, but unfortunately due to lack of resources, crush their dreams even before they have the courage to go for the moon. It is in this zeal and desire to see other young talents achieve their full potential, that compels me to embark on this campaign to raise funds in support of a charity organisation in Ghana by the name Reachout World Missions.

This is a group of young and energetic talents, striving to bridge the gap between the privileged and the less privileged, by giving their time,love and financial support in impacting and improving the quality of life for the disadvantaged and marginalized in society.

This year, they are working tirelessly to build homeless shelters and vocational training centers to support under-served youth and children, as well as providing skill development and empowerment opportunities for the out-of-school youth. In the short term, they work to make a difference by advocating for public inclusion of orphans and street child care, towards achieving SDGs 1,2,3,4,8,17..

In their five years of existence, through their many creative initiatives, they have worked to impact 6,500+ youth, adults and children in 5 Regions of Ghana with sustainable help in the areas of skill development, capacity building, health care and educational support. We believe that we make a living by what we get, but most definitely, we make a great life by what we give. I have this analogy that thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle. Nonetheless, the life of that candle will not be shortened. This suggest that happiness never decreases when shared.

In the light of this, we appeal to all of you out there to support us in this process. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted or remains insignificant. Let's join forces together as we continue to give back to society through creative solutions to societal problems!!!
