Funds needed to get disabled child to out of state hospital

Miracle needed: We need to raise money so we can rent a car to get our child to an out-of-state hospital. We live in Kentucky and need to go to Pennsylvania. He also needs clothing, shoes and some special equipment to help him with his therapies and treatments.

Our 13 yr old son has Prader-Willi Syndrome and we need a car to get to Children's hospital in Pittsburgh, PA for a 2 month stay for his condition. We do not have a car and flying is too expensive. So we need to be able to rent a car to take him up there, to do a mid-stay treatment plan and then to get him home. At this time, my husband is working. I have been injured and going through therapies and injections for the pain, so therefore I am not working at this time.

• The money donated will rent a car with insurance and the gas needed for the trip. (3 trips total)
• Clothes and shoes for therapeutic activities, including swimming
• Any specialized braces, items or equipment needed for his therapy

If our son is not able to go through this program, he may not have a normal life expectancy. This program will help him lose weight, gain an understanding of his disorder, and help him to be healthy and knowledgeable enough to to live a longer and more independent life.
