Vice-Chairman of the territorial public organization of citizens says:
Dear friends, dear cat lovers around the world! In our charitable Project we want to ask you for help for an elderly, lonely, sick and poor woman living in our (city of Belgorod), which despite the presence of her huge financial problems she feeds, warms and treats for her own means about 40 stray cats: more than 30 cats in the yard, and about 10 in her tiny flat.
Her name is Lily Barashikova V., born in 1938. For a long time she lived in Ukraine and currently still has the Ukrainian citizenship, but moved to Russia to home of her husband because of hazards associated with the events. The husband had passed away a few years ago, so Lily has a room in a small flat, which she can leave at any moment.
In the courtyard, which consists of several houses, where she lives, there are a lot of wretched stray cats. She decided to take care of all these cats by herself alone! Every day she prepares and brings them food, and periodically she wears them on veterinary station for treatment, vaccinations and operations, which are very expensive. She must spend all money for it from her own purse. Lily gets a small Ukrainian pension and you will agree that it is practically impossible not only to live on it, and even so to feed so many homeless pets!
But for Lilia Vasilievna it is her own big family, from which she is never going to give up, no matter what some difficulties!
In the cold winter weather our cats bask on these heating tubes in the courtyard, which you see now on the photo, but after all from the wind, rain and snow it is impossible to hide themselves anywhere, so it is necessary money also to build small wooden houses for the kitties, so that they could easier carry severe cold.
Kind people of our Planet, please, help them as much as you can! Sincere human thanks to all of You !!!
With respect and big gratitude, not indifferent and thankful inhabitants of Belgorod and Alexander Vozovik - Chairman of the territorial public Organization of citizens.
