On February 7th, 2014 a fire tore through the home of our friend Barbie Keck and her daughters Brittan and Reese destroying everything they owned. The fire was considered a "total loss" and Barbie was uninsured. Barbie is the last person that would ask for help but the first person to offer it. She is tennacious and strong, but this life hurdle would set anyone back. Though the theme "Homeless Barbie" may seem a bit harsch, but Barbie is not one for violins and a tin cup. She takes it on the chin and seems to always remain in a possative place.
Barbie is known best for her Sailing and Hockey accolades, but for those of us that know her well, it is her heart and compassion that stand at the forefront. Imagine if you will losing everything you owned today and the obstacles and feelings you would encounter. Such is the life of our Homeless Barbie. Please join us today in supporting someone who is always there supporting others and plays such a great role in our community.

Hi Barb, I don't know if you remember me but I lived across the street from you when we were kids on Woodland Lane. I'm so sorry to hear about this awful fire and the situation it has put you in.
