Comfy Couch : Homegrown Music at Home

March was looking busy for the 22 Tango Records' community. We had live music events scheduled throughout the month and had a pretty busy gig and recording schedule. On March 11, because of the looming COVID-19 crisis that was quickly unraveling in Manila, we canceled all our scheduled music events and worked towards closing the studio indefinitely.

Along with all our friends in the community who are running small businesses and rely on live events and foot traffic for revenue, we are heartbroken that we've had to close our doors, but also quickly realized that we are all in this together and it takes every single person's efforts and cooperation to get through this.

When words fail, music speaks...

22 Tango Records along with Cebu's homegrown music artists are coming together for a new online series entitled Comfy Couch: Homegrown Music At Home. We are bringing online shows through Facebook Live starting April 1st as our way to raise funds to help our Cebu frontliners battle the current COVID-19 crisis. All proceeds will benefit the Cebu Crisis Assistance Team - CCAT and Total OutReach for Community Health - TORCH.
