Our intrepid friend Mary Ann has made it most of the way to her dream life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, thanks to many caring and generous people. She is nearly set up in her new apartment and she has started the complicated process of getting clients to help with her considerable therapy skills. There are still a few wrinkles to iron out, though, due to slow-moving bureaucracies and other annoyances one faces with any big move -- hers was over a thousand miles, as you may recall, and with physical disabilities. So now I am asking you to help out once more to help her over the few remaining hurdles.
If I give you too many details you'll get all worried. Still, as the days pass, I'll be a bit more specific. But remember, this is Mary Ann. Fate seems to test her but she always comes out on top. Any amount of assistance will be sincerely appreciated and heap blessings on your head.
I have been honored to be a part of this worthy project by donating from my private collection of gorgeous, hand-woven, woolen Turkish kilims and Barbara Sher audiobooks, etc., as gifts to donors who would like them. I will do so again when you donate at specified levels. Or, if you would like another shot at a phone session with me and a month of follow-up e-mails, the last ones went so well, I'm willing to offer that again, too.

Getting better, one step at a time
Update posted by Barbara Sher at 07:05 pmHello, friends. Well, I was worried at first about the complex computer system used at my new job, as I am not all that great at learning new systems, but I am happy to tell you that I found my supervisor to be a very nice man, really patient. . . . .

Dear Mary Ann I saw Seattle for the first time when I went to the World's Fair in 1986 and it was love at first sight! I have made a little donation this morning, am on my way to work, but wanted to send a note to a fellow Seattle Lover and Dreamer! You & your dream are an inspiration! Kristin
